The participatory experience, which was a candidate to the OIDP general award in 2023, has a longer history, with its roots in the difficult pandemic period. Its continuity did not reduce its participatory intensity along the implementation phases. The sustainability of the programme owes a lot to the capacity of making converge in this experience a series of thematic policies on Food Security, Land taxes, Model Farming and Waste Management, that were able to guarantee a diverse range of funding and multiplied the variety of actors involved, including several vulnerate groups of local society. Its potential replicability enroots in the capacity to highlight new possibilities for valuing new harmonic relations between the urban milieu and the open territories inside the municipality borders, balancing volunteering and just retribution of work, with special attention to women and the youth.
