Submit your proposal of content for the 2018 IOPD Conference!

The International Observatory on Participatory Democracy (IOPD) will celebrate its 18th Conference in Barcelona on the 25th, 26th and 27th of November. We want it to be an event organized with the collaboration of our members as well as any other person or group who is interested in participatory democracy.

That's why we encourage you to present proposals of roundtables and workshops to be included in the conference program. Here you will find the instructions to present a proposal and also the form, which you must fill in before the 30th June.

TOPICS OF THE IOPD CONFERNECE 2018

Proposals must fit within the lines of debate, which this year will be direct democracy, citizens' initiative and inclusive participation ecosystems. Here you can find more details about the possible content in each of the lines of debate. Also, the event will be an oportunity to think about how cities develop the New Urban Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) involving citizens in the plannification, design and implementation of policies at the local level.
