This panel, organized around different themes — migrants and refugees; children, elder and people with disabilities; poor neighborhoods, homeless people and other vulnerable groups — aims to critically analyze concerns and corresponding strategies, tools, and methods that could support the inclusion of these citizens in policymaking, both at national and local level. Speakers from different origins will present and discuss different social and intersectional approaches and practices, aiming at including those who often are excluded from all processes, bearing in mind that precisely their involvement is crucial to prevent growing inequalities.
