Penang organizes the Asia-Pacific Conference on Localising Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The Asia-Pacific Conference on Localising Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Leaving No One Behind will be held on 25-26 October 2017 in Penang, Malaysia.

This conference will be hosted by Penang Women's Development Corporation (PWDC) (a Penang State Government Agency) in collaboration with The State Government of Penang, City Council of Penang and Municipal Council of Seberang Perai together with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Penang Institute.  The two-day conference aims to bring together leaders, experts, and practitioners from governments, state agencies, academics, civil societies, and private sector in the Asia-Pacific region to share the best practices and lessons learnt on SDGs by identifying the accelerators in localizing the SDGs at the sub-national and local government.
