Interested experts are invited to nominate their willingness to join the jury before July 23
The technical secretariat of the IOPD opens the call to be part of the jury that will evaluate the finalist candidacies for the IOPD Award. The members of the jury will have to read and evaluate between 7 and 10 candidates each (each candidacy has 4 pages of extension plus the annexes) during the months of August and September 2019.
About the jury in the terms of the award: “The Jury will be made up of 8 citizen participation experts from around the world. The Technical Secretary will select the members of the Jury and will endeavor to ensure a balance in gender and regional terms. The names of the Jury members will be kept secret until the announcement of the results.”
Requirements to be part of the jury:
- Have experience on the subject of citizen participation, local governments, open government (in the field of academia, consulting, or administration)
- Be able to read in any of these languages: English, French and Spanish (it will be appreciated to master more than one language)
- Not having any conflict of interest with the finalist candidacies
