As the continent's democracy standard-setter, the Council of Europe, with the support of the French government, the Region Alsace and the city of Strasbourg, is organising the 2013 World Forum "Rewiring democracy – connecting institutions and citizens in the digital age", to hear organisations and experts from the world over, on the imperatives of  its new democracy agenda.
