The International Observatory on Participatory Democracy (IOPD) invites local and regional governments that are members of the IOPD to submit their proposal for the 15th edition of the award. This Award is given annually by the observatory to recognize innovative experiences and public policies on citizen participation.

In this edition, the candidacies will be evaluated by an expert jury once they have passed a first evaluation stage by all IOPD members through the online participatory platform ParticipateOIDP. The purpose of this initial stage is, on the one hand, to give visibility to all proposals and, on the other hand, to collect the members' opinions on all practices submitted.

The deadline for proposal submissions is 30 April 2021. Proposals may be submitted in English, French, Spanish or Portuguese
