The International Observatory on Participatory Democracy (IOPD) is excited to announce that the voting process to select the host city for the 25th IOPD Conference in 2026 is about to begin. This decision follows the discussions held at the IOPD General Assembly on October 7, 2024.
Who Can Vote?
All IOPD members that are local governments, regional governments, or associations of local and/or regional governments are eligible to participate in this voting process. Each entity is entitled to one vote, ensuring fair representation across our diverse membership base.
How to Participate?
To maintain a transparent and organized voting process, we are conducting a membership census to ensure that each eligible entity casts a single vote. As part of this, we ask each member to identify one person and provide their corresponding email address as the designated voting representative.
To participate, please complete this registration form as soon as possible. Note that only one registration per member entity is allowed.
