Lyn Carson, PhD, is a Professor with the University of Sydney Business School.  She has taught and researched deliberative democracy for the past 25 years and has enjoyed the challenge of working on ‘the other side’ as an elected member.  Carson was an elected representative with Lismore City Council (1991-1995) which stirred her passion for involving the broader public in the resolution of what appear to be impossible policy challenges.  She will be joined by academics and expert practitioners from across the country in presenting, stimulating and challenging master class participants.
