Ceding Power : Participatory Budgeting

Health and Social Care Academy

The Health and Social Care Academy’s Five Provocations for the Future of Health and Social Care recognise that achieving meaningful change in health and social care requires new and different ways of thinking. One of the Five Provocations, Ceding Power, emphasises that engaging and enabling people from all walks of life to devise solutions and solve problems can create opportunities for transformational change. Participatory budgeting is a practical tool that can help make that happen.
