The United Cities and Local Governments Congress and World Summit will take place in Daejeon, South Korea, from October 10-14. This event, held every three years, builds on our Organization's century-old origins as a movement driven by peace, solidarity and city diplomacy, and the commitment of local and regional government members from around the world to safeguard the dreams and aspirations of their communities.
The Congress will elect the new UCLG presidency and political leadership, as well as adopt a pact for the future in order to face global challenges. This event will be an important opportunity to exchange knowledge, discover experiences and strengthen alliances between global actors.
